The Clinical Outpatient Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, supervising and evaluating the Mental Health and Addictions Adult and Child clinical outpatient teams. The Manager oversees a team responsible for the clinical and administrative operations that support clients in our core services. As part of the administrative operations, the Manager oversees the administrative team and is responsible to oversee any issues related to the site(s) where services are provided.
The position monitors clinical service delivery on a day-to-day basis to ensure service provision is in accordance with Nova Scotia Health policies and procedures and is compliant with evidence-based practice, provincial standards, accreditation requirements and provincial service delivery model, CAPA (child only). Working closely with the Northern Zone Director, Chief of Psychiatry, MHA Managers, and all other relevant staff, physician and academic leaders, the Manager provides strategic and operational leadership that supports excellence in service delivery, integration of mental health and addiction service provision, and collaboration with other program areas.

Hours$46.36 - $61.60 hourly
