Through our work across all channels, we focus on delivering better business results via media optimization, creation, and analysis. Our scope includes recommending how channels can work together, optimizing content for channel performance, and maximizing visibility in key platforms.

The Manager, Client Leadership, is a key media partner for our clients. They are the expert on the client’s business and a leader in media strategy both for the client and internally within the agency. The CL Manager possesses a strong knowledge of the media landscape and research. This role manages the account team to meet key client objectives.

As the Manager, Client Leadership, you will collaborate with the client to understand long-term objectives and short-term campaign needs. You will work with the Director and media team to provide strategic media recommendations, updates on media trends, and guidance on best practices.

Key areas of expertise and responsibility
Media:
  • Supporting the Director in developing strategic directions and detailed media plans
  • Providing leadership to the team on client strategies and recommendations
  • Supervising media planners, buyers, and coordinators to ensure deliverables align with client objectives
  • Accountable for media plan outputs, including blocking charts, MPAs, timelines, and accuracy
  • Managing budgets, reviews, and team workload
  • Supporting problem-solving within the team
Relationship with team and clients:
  • Building trusting, collaborative relationships with clients, team, and partners
  • Leading client presentations and supporting team presentations
  • Managing client expectations and deadlines
Research:
  • Knowledge of key media tools (Lens, Comb, Comscore, Video Planners, Google Ads Manager, Meta Planner, etc.) and terminology (CPPs, GRPs, CPMs, KPIs, CTRs)
  • Leading strategic recommendations based on audience and media insights
Reporting:
  • Reviewing reports, providing feedback, and ensuring KPIs are met
  • Managing report deliverables and deadlines
Experience / key skills:
  • Extensive media experience across channels (traditional and digital)
  • Agency experience is preferred
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
  • Analytically driven and deadline-focused
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience managing complex blocking charts and budgets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and proactively solve problems

The salary range for this position is $90k-$95k, based on experience and skills. Benefits include medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and others.
