We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manager, Client Finance to join our team in a pivotal support role. This position serves as the first point of contact for concerns and issues before escalation to the Director and is expected to work alongside the Director to ensure smooth workflow management and process integrity across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for issues requiring immediate attention or resolution.
  • Attend and, when necessary, lead meetings with Shared Financial Services (SFS) and agency partners to address concerns and issues.
  • Manage and resolve issues at a granular level, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow and service delivery.
  • Work with the Director to manage the end-to-end workflow, from campaign input and vendor invoice reconciliation to final campaign billing submission to the agency.
  • Routinely provide status updates to leadership and escalate issues that require Director-level intervention.
  • Identify process gaps; collaborate with the Director and relevant teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide hands-on support to a team of four analysts during peak times or as needed.
  • Assist the Director in the implementation, management, and review of internal controls, including IUC checks and maintaining required documentation.
  • Prepare and manage budget control reports (BCRs) for monthly and billing reviews.
  • Prepare and submit month-end reports for quality assurance review by the Director.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in finance operations, billing, or project coordination.
  • Experience working in media advertising agencies.
  • Experience supporting or leading small teams.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of billing, invoice reconciliation, and financial workflows.
  • Experience with tools like Mediaocean and Prisma.
  • Comfortable identifying and solving problems quickly and thoroughly.
  • Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills – able to lead meetings and work with internal teams.
  • Well-organized with good time management – can handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented – spots issues before they become problems.
  • Team player – able to support others, especially during busy times.
