Position Overview: Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for logistics, compliance, and data-driven decision-making? We are looking for a Manager of Compliance, Capacity & Pricing to lead key initiatives that keep our operations running smoothly and competitively. In this vital leadership role, you'll ensure regulatory compliance, build strong partnerships with carriers, and develop pricing strategies that drive profitability and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Oversight
    • Lead and refine the carrier onboarding process, ensuring all partner carriers meet regulatory requirements including operating authorities, liability insurance, safety ratings, and executed contracts.
    • Monitor service performance and manage rate negotiations on contracted lanes.
  • Regulatory Management
    • Stay ahead of industry regulations and trends, implementing changes to keep our operations fully compliant.
  • Capacity Management
    • Build a deep understanding of our carrier network to optimize utilization and strengthen carrier relationships.
  • Pricing Strategy
    • Take charge of quoting and capacity sourcing for RFPs, including joint efforts with our Asset group.
    • Maintain and update pricing models that reflect market trends and customer expectations while maximizing profitability.
    • Manage internal carrier rate tables and contracted lane pricing.
  • Collaboration
    • Partner with sales, logistics, and fleet operations teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Leverage data analytics to measure the effectiveness of pricing and capacity plans.
    • Prepare and present actionable insights and performance updates to senior leadership.
What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in freight brokerage, logistics, procurement, or a similar field with strong experience in compliance, pricing, and capacity planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident working with data, pricing models, and logistics software tools.
