The Manager will serve as a shared resource across Retail Banking Finance Business lines, reporting to and supporting multiple teams. The primary responsibilities include Financial Reporting, Planning & Forecasting, Financial Analysis & Visualizations, Reporting Process redesign, and supporting the Anaplan implementation project. Canadian Banking Finance provides financial management and analytical support to Canadian Banking Executive Management and Business Line Management in Retail Banking, Small Business, Automotive Lending, Commercial Banking, and Tangerine.

In this role, you will:



- Handle Monthly & Quarterly Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Support portfolio/balance sheet, net interest income, NIM, PCL, expenses, and key performance metrics analysis
- Identify main drivers of interest profit and expenses at business unit and product levels
- Provide analysis and commentary for monthly and quarter-end reporting, including the Blue Book and other management reports
- Review and improve existing reporting processes using Power BI
- Apply visualization best practices to enhance communication of financial data
- Conduct deep-dives and ad-hoc analysis for actionable insights
- Review and recommend improvements for data/excel reporting processes, working with EDW, Access, and Excel data sources
- Support process redesign implementation using Python, Alteryx, and Excel
- Assist in creating business requirement documents, user acceptance testing, and project documentation for the Anaplan implementation
- Develop detailed job aids, training materials, and process documentation

Qualifications:
- University degree in Analytics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
- MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Strong data visualization skills and experience redesigning reporting processes
- Analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
- Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and other tools like Python or Alteryx
- Experience working in Agile environments is a plus
- Knowledge of financial and management reporting principles
- Excellent communication skills
