Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Manager to oversee daily operations in our vibrant café. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and driving sales while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and train café staff, ensuring high levels of performance and customer service.
  2. Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  3. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  4. Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  5. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote café offerings.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café in compliance with health regulations.
  7. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
  8. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create seasonal menus that highlight fresh ingredients.
  9. Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and growth.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or restaurant industry.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  3. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  5. Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
  6. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  7. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer experiences.
  8. Previous experience in bartending is a plus but not required.
