As a Manager, Business Support you will be responsible for overseeing all support and clerical work within a company, ensuring efficient workflows and processes. You will manage administrative staff, develop and implement policies, and monitor outcomes to improve productivity and reduce costs. Essentially, you are leading the backbone of our operations, keeping things running smoothly.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in existing administrative processes.
  • Develop and implement new or improved processes, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage and optimize workflows to ensure smooth and timely execution of administrative tasks.
  • Document processes and provide training to relevant staff to ensure consistent execution.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor process performance and identify areas for further improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure process alignment.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and implement relevant technologies to streamline administrative processes.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with administrative processes.
  • Ensure that administrative processes comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Lead a team of administrative staff.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 10+ years of industry experience and/or 5+ years operations management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field an asset.
  • Broad understanding of and knowledge of FCT’s customer segments.
  • Broad understanding and knowledge of industry best practices in operations.
  • Good knowledge of customer service principles and experience in employee management.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Bilingual – an asset but not required.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to identify and resolve process issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Business Process Management (BPM).
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
