ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Manager, Business Operations & Optimization, you will lead and optimize key people-focused processes and operational programs across our retail organization. This role ensures operational excellence in people operations, including staffing & scheduling, HR tools partnership, emergency management, and store administration. You will collaborate with HR, Retail Training & Talent Development, DE&I, and Retail Leadership teams across Canada and North America to support a seamless store support structure that enhances productivity, employee experience, and operational consistency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Educate store leadership on effective scheduling practices and optimize staffing using tools like Dayforce.
  • Streamline workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase employee satisfaction.
  • Lead crisis management protocols to ensure safety and emergency readiness.
  • Partner on cross-functional projects, aligning decisions with business strategy.
  • Develop programs to foster employee engagement, collaboration, and growth.
  • Prepare and present operational metrics reports to senior management.
  • Maintain systems such as the Store Information Portal and Master Data Management.
  • Manage operational programs like employee purchase, password management, and Paid-Out initiatives.
  • Collaborate with District Managers, Regional Directors, and Retail teams to align on business objectives.
  • Support DE&I initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Monitor KPIs, optimize scheduling, and clarify role descriptions.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Travel to Sephora stores as needed to support on-site processes.

  • 5+ years of retail operations experience, with successful scheduling program implementation.
  • Proficiency in workforce management tools and strong analytical skills.
