This is a 12-month contract providing regulatory compliance advice and direction to the supported Wealth businesses. The role involves interpreting regulations, advising on their application to business processes and controls, and serving as the subject matter expert for 1st Line compliance related to regulatory developments.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Leading impact assessments and implementation of new regulatory requirements.
• Participating in regulatory development projects and industry meetings.
• Supporting business leaders with compliance programs and maintaining regulatory controls in GRCE.
• Building relationships across various teams and managing compliance policies and procedures.
• Developing expertise in relevant regulations such as CIRO, UMIR, OSC, and others.

Qualifications: Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience, a post-secondary degree or equivalent, with certifications like Canadian Securities Courses as assets.

Skills include: Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
