What You Will Do

  1. Oversee and manage the audit of the clients
  2. Manage the audit from planning to completion of statements
  3. Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing the business plan
  4. Work with members of the assurance management group to meet the goals of the assurance financial plan
  5. Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff
  6. Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements
What You Bring To The Role

  1. Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent
  2. 5+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm
  3. Previous experience using IFRS working with publicly listed clients
  4. Exposure to large integrated Audit would be considered advantageous
  5. Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  6. Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities is derived from your dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service
  7. Proven background of building a client base and adding revenue
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, are a strong team player and have meticulous attention to detail
  9. Professional accounting firm experience is a must
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

In British Columbia, the expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $112,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
