This diverse team of professionals are dedicated to exceeding clients’ unique needs within a rapidly evolving business and financial reporting landscape. Responsibilities

  • Lead the dynamic planning, scheduling and execution of audits, compliance tax engagements, budgeting, internal controls and financial/accounting transactions with Indigenous communities and enterprises
  • Deliver your industry and technical expertise in audit and assurance through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and high-quality deliverables
  • Manage a portfolio of clients while understanding their business, key risks and ways to deliver added value; ensure clients’ needs are met and that relationships and accounts grow and develop
  • Maintain quality control using your specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to the client’s business, financial entries and reports
  • Create connections within the vibrant Indigenous community, developing business development opportunities and preparing compelling proposals to meet client needs
  • Mentor, motivate and inspire team members team members towards professional and personal growth through clear guidance, constructive feedback, and impactful performance reviews
  • Maintain flexibility to travel to engage with client in-person

Skills And Experience

  • CPA designation
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant public accounting experience
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities or enterprises an asset
  • Strong understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles
  • Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
