Job description

Our Saskatoon office is looking for a Manager to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Plan, supervise, and execute assurance and non-assurance engagements for private or public clients while ensuring adherence to relevant professional standards and Firm policies.
  • Manage Assurance projects such as preparing financial statements, conducting due diligence procedures, providing capital-raising services, and collaborating on tax services for assurance and non-assurance clients.
  • Continuously cultivate a portfolio of new clients and identify business opportunities for existing clients.
  • Utilize industry and business expertise to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues that are pertinent to the client's business.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions.
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.

Your Experience And Education

  • You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in audit and assurance within the public accounting industry, with at least 1 year at the management level.
  • Successfully completed your CPA designation.
  • You must have a comprehensive understanding of PSAS, ASPE, and ASNPO files.
  • You prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work.
  • You demonstrate exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
