As an Assurance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service
  2. Leading coaching and performance management for direct reports, including goal-setting, providing feedback, and supporting professional development
  3. Participating in recruitment processes such as interviews and assessments
  4. Planning, leading, and executing client engagements across various industries and reporting frameworks, ensuring clear communication and excellent service
  5. Managing work assignments and performance of engagement team members, being accountable for outcomes
  6. Applying strategies to deliver profitable services and influence key performance indicators
  7. Proactively solving problems with engagement teams and clients
  8. Sharing leadership within the firm, contributing to culture and business planning
  9. Identifying and supporting new business opportunities
  10. Building our reputation as trusted business advisors in key sectors

Qualifications:

  • CPA (CPA, CA; CPA, CMA, or CPA, CGA) accreditation
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting or related industry
  • Strong technical knowledge in audit, assurance, accounting, and tax
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Interpersonal skills to build trust and influence decision-makers
  • Teamwork and leadership skills, including coaching and project management
  • Proficiency with MS Office and accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, TaxPrep, Sage, QuickBooks)
