About this opportunity :

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Maintenance, the Asset Integrity & Verification Manager is accountable for the SeaRose and West White Rose Integrity Management System. This system mitigates the occurrence of a major accident event by ensuring Safety Critical Elements remain Fit for Purpose, meeting defined performance goals.

What you’ll do :

Manage applicable integrity programs and related documentation, including Work Order Deferral Process

Lead integrity programs for SeaRose and West White Rose, ensuring documentation is current and aligned with regulatory and verification requirements

Monitor Safety Critical Elements against performance standards, providing Fit for Purpose reports and flagging deviations, deferrals, and backlog to assess asset risk

Liaise with regulators, Certifying Authorities (and Flag State) to ensure ongoing compliance and certification requirements are met

Conduct and ensure effectiveness of annual reviews for pressure systems, structures, EX equipment, PSVs, and fabric maintenance

Identify and implement new techniques and technologies to improve safety-critical maintenance and inspection programs

Maintain accurate Safety Critical Element status reports, manage SAP notifications and work orders according to risk prioritization

Who you are :

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications :

Legally authorized to work in Canada

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

A member in good standing or eligible for registration with Professional Engineers and Geoscientist Newfoundland & Labrador (PEGNL)

Minimum 12 years experience within an asset management program with strong understanding of Major Accident Hazards, Safety Critical Elements and Performance Standards.

Strong knowledge of Regulatory and Certifying Authority regulations and codes Working knowledge of SAP PM functionality Training as defined by the CAPP Standard Practice for Training and Qualifications of Personnel, Transport Canada, other regulatory requirements, and company required training

This is a safety sensitive position and will be subject to pre-placement Fitness for Work assessments, which includes drug and alcohol screening, a medical and driver’s abstract review
