Jobtailor in Toronto, Canada, seeks an analytical development leader with mass spectrometry expertise to oversee MS-based studies and regulatory-compliant projects.

You will guide scientists, drive method development and validation, and coordinate with other departments to solve MS-related challenges. Strong leadership and communication are essential in a fast-paced pharmaceutical/analytical environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a scientific discipline, especially Organic or Analytic Chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences.
• Strong theoretical background in analytical chemistry and organic chemistry.
• Expert knowledge of mass spectroscopy and chromatography.
• In-depth knowledge of analytical method development and validation.
• Advanced knowledge of peptide analysis by mass spectrometry.
• Advanced knowledge of analytical instrumentation including HPLC, LC‑MS and GC‑MS.
• In depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines (FDA, TPD, ICH etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Leadership and management skills demonstrated in previous supervisory/management roles.
