Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Manager/Director to lead the global Scientific Application Portfolio, drive digital strategy with GIS and leadership, and oversee governance and vendor management in a pharmaceutical IT environment.

The role requires proven global leadership, experience with enterprise systems across IT/OT, and strong governance and GXP controls within regulated markets (Canada/US/EU).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or equivalent.
• 10+ years as a Senior Manager/Director within an IT environment.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
• Demonstrated governance, IT and GXP controls experience.
• Experience providing global leadership.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire Scientific Application Portfolio including Computer System Validation.
• Work with GIS and Business Leadership to develop a global Digital Strategy.
• Drive the development and adoption of digital leadership capability throughout the organization.
• Provide global strategy and leadership on practical and scalable solutions.
• Establish and maintain the global vision, strategy, and program.
• Oversee efforts in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining processes.
• Develop and drive global enterprise applications delivery teams to improve speed of delivery.
• Develop and oversee global compliance programs governing vendor qualification.
• Manage relationships with major vendors and service providers.
• Act as an Agile Champion by establishing high-performing teams.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making and communication skills
• Experience with managing virtual teams
• Strong knowledge of Canadian, US and EU regulatory guidelines
