The Rec Room at Cineplex Calgary is hiring an Amusement Technician Manager to ensure a top–quality gaming experience for guests. You will lead maintenance tasks, oversee repairs, and help train staff to quickly resolve issues while upholding safety standards.

This role combines hands-on technical work with team leadership. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in a similar environment, strong knowledge of gaming equipment, and flexible hours.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar environment, preferably in a management role.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of gaming equipment.
• Flexible schedule to work extended hours as needed.

The Rec Room’s Amusement Technician Managers are an integral part of the team provide an exceptional gaming experience to each and every guest. What you will do

The Rec Room’s Amusement Technician Managers are an integral part of the team provide an exceptional gaming experience to each and every guest. Our amusement staff members are passionate about gaming and entertainment and look to bring their experience towards providing an exciting and engaging environment.

In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assist in the repair and maintenance of gaming equipment by consistently evaluating all equipment and proactively determining potential problems and solutions when they occur.
• Provide occasional guidance to the primary function of others, including training and guidance to solve any problems that may pop up.
• Prepare and submit to management summary reports listing conditions found in the performance of assigned work and recommend and/or suggest action to be taken.
• Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
• Maintain compliance with Federal, Provincial, Municipal, Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• You have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar environment, preferably in a management role.
• You have experience with preventative maintenance, diagnostic abilities and repairs, and a thorough knowledge of gaming equipment principles and operation.
• You have schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required.
