The Opportunity
TC Energy is seeking an exceptional leader for the AI Enablement and Data team within the Enterprise Infrastructure & Platforms department of Information Services. This key leadership role will drive TC Energy's AI adoption and data strategies, ensuring they deliver business value and enable digital transformation across the enterprise.
The Manager, AI Enable ment and Data leads a team responsible for enabling TC Energy's AI and data capabilities , including AI, data and technical governance . This role champions the adoption of AI technologies, drives innovation, and ensures AI and data are leveraged as a strategic asset to create competitive advantage for the organization.
What You'll Do:
Strategy Delivery
Support translat ion of TC Energy's enterprise and AI strategy into actionable data and AI roadmaps with clear business outcomes
Align data and AI strategies, tools, and architecture with IS and business objectives
Develop and execute implementation plans that deliver measurable business value
Establish metrics and KPIs to track progress and demonstrate return on investment
Position data as a strategic asset that drives business decision-making and operational excellence
Business Enablement
Partner with business units to identify and implement high-value AI use cases
Drive value delivery through effective frameworks, reusable patterns, and solutions
Enhance office productivity by implementing AI capabilities at worker, team, and process levels
Develop and implement comprehensive AI literacy programs across the organization
Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful implementation of initiatives
Oversee governance for AI, data, technical platforms and tools for TCE
Platform Management
Provide strategic direction for Enterprise Data Platforms (AWS, Microsoft Fabric) and AI Platforms (Copilot, C opilot Studio and internal tools)
Manage and run platforms to effectively support business needs
Team Leadership
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data and AI, data and platform professionals
Establish clear performance objectives aligned with strategic priorities
Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for data governance, AI governance, and AI enablement
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field ( Master's degree preferred)
7+ years of experience in advanced analytics, AI implementation or data management
5+ years of leadership experience managing business facing and technical teams
Proven experience in developing and executing AI and data strategies with measurable business outcomes
Strong background in business enablement through technology solutions
Demonstrated success in process transformation, vendor management, and performance tracking
Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and responsible AI practices
Experience implementing and managing cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with digital transformation initiatives
Change management expertise to drive adoption of new technologies and processes
Ability to influence without direct authority across organizational boundaries
