About the Role

As Manager, Agri-Food Projects & Partnerships, you'll lead the charge on high-impact initiatives that increase access to nutritious food across Canada. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of agri-food partnerships and projects, translating strategy into action through hands-on coordination of food acquisition, transformation, distribution, and in-kind programs. You thrive in complexity, bring order to moving parts, and love the challenge of making things run smoothly. Whether you're collaborating across teams, tracking deliverables, or representing Food Banks Canada at industry events, you bring energy, clarity, and professionalism to every interaction. This position is remote, but requires frequent regional travel, requiring the candidate to be located within the 75km of the Greater Toronto Area.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage a portfolio of agri-food partnerships and projects, leading the operationalization and execution of food acquisition, transformation, distribution, and in-kind partnership components
  • Build partnership loyalty through exceptionally high levels of stewardship, service and support, expertise, and creative problem solving to ensure programs and activities are executed in a collaborative, timely, effective and professional manner
  • Support program evaluation, by identifying areas for improvement and opportunities to enhance partner collaboration and engagement
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Stewardship teams to execute, lead, operationalize, optimize and evaluate projects and partnerships.
  • Monitor and track all contractual obligations to ensure program compliance and stewardship
  • Represent Food Banks Canada at events, trade shows and in meetings with industry and corporate attendance

What You Will Need

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience with Canadian food supply chain verticals, with experience in any combination of the following: food banking, agriculture, food processing / manufacturing, account management, or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing complex and or large-scale projects with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Entrepreneurial, results oriented, self-motivated by success and demonstrates ability to meet or exceed goals with minimal direction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively network and build relationships quickly
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate programs and data, interpret key metrics, and generate actionable insights that support strategic planning, continuous improvement, and accountability
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, streamline workflows, and maintain meticulous attention to detail in fast-paced environments
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset

Working Conditions

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work
  • The position is remote, but requires frequent regional travel, requiring candidates to be located within 75km of the Greater Toronto Area
  • Occasional travel within Canada may be required
