The Manager of Aerodrome, Field & Mobile Operations reports to the Director of Aerodrome Operations, Safety & Compliance and is part of the Aerodrome Operations management team. This role is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient management of all aerodrome activities at Edmonton International Airport, leading a team of operational staff, while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, relevant policies and procedures.
The manager will coordinate field operations, including runway maintenance, mobile operations acquisition and maintenance, and other related initiatives, while collaborating with all relevant partners. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing operational plans and safe work practices for both airside and ground-side activities, with a focus on fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of aviation operations are essential for success in this fast-paced airport environment. The Manager of Aerodrome, Field & Mobile Operations will ensure the smooth operation of aerodrome services, enhance passenger experience, and uphold the airport’s reputation for excellence in safety and operational performance.
