Job summary

EllisDon in Mississauga is seeking an experienced facilities/energy management professional to lead advisory and energy management services across projects. You will drive energy strategies, condition assessments, and technical input for pursuits, supporting strategic initiatives and lifecycle decisions.

The role focuses on design reviews, lifecycle analysis, and performance metrics, collaborating with Pursuits, LRT, and Cradle to Grave teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Sciences, Architecture, Asset Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in facilities management, building operations, maintenance management, technical services, engineering, or asset management.
  • Experience supporting facilities operations, asset management programs, capital planning initiatives, or operational readiness projects.
  • Experience within healthcare, institutional, municipal, commercial, industrial, transportation, or other complex facilities environments is preferred.
  • Experience with Public Private Partnership (P3) and DBFM projects is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership of specialist team for delivery of advisory and energy management services.
  • Provision of energy management and condition assessment support to existing projects.
  • Provision of relevant energy and technical feedback to Pursuits for diligence on current and future bids.
  • Support our Pursuits team in instances of high activity.
  • Support to LRT, Business Development and Cradle to Grave teams with ad hoc requests.
  • Assisting with strategy development and M&A activity as required.
  • Coordinate technical input regarding building systems operations and maintenance practices.
  • Review design and technical documents from an operational, maintenance, and lifecycle perspective.
  • Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, and operation assessments.
  • Evaluate maintainability, reliability, accessibility, and lifecycle implications of design solutions.
  • Support investigations, assessments, and root cause analyses of facility operations related issues.
  • Assist in assessing facilities services programs and identifying opportunities for improved performance, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Support the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and performance monitoring tools.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000

Qualifications
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Sciences, Architecture, Asset Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • You have minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in facilities management, building operations, maintenance management, technical services, engineering, or asset management.
  • You have experience supporting facilities operations, asset management programs, capital planning initiatives, or operational readiness projects.
  • You have experience within healthcare, institutional, municipal, commercial, industrial, transportation, or other complex facilities environments is preferred.
  • You have experience with Public Private Partnership (P3) and DBFM projects is considered an asset.
