St. Lawrence College is seeking a dedicated Manager responsible for leading a team to enhance student retention services, particularly for at-risk and international students. The role includes collaboration with academic staff, implementation of support strategies, and guidance on system improvements. Candidates must have a 4-year degree and significant management experience, as well as expertise in supporting diverse student needs.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager is responsible for leading a cross-functional team, including Academic Advisors and International Student Advisors and is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining student retention services with a focus on at-risk and international students who require additional resources and supports. Collaborating with other members of the college, such as academic and registrar staff, to ensure academic records, progression, and monitoring is accurate within various systems. This position will be responsible for providing guidance and insights into systems improvements from a staff and student perspective. In collaboration with others, this position will champion retention and student success initiatives for the college
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a 4-Year Degree in Arts, Education, Business, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in post-secondary education or social services
setting.

The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location or work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college’s Telework Policy.
SALARY AND TERMS:
Admin Group: Pay Band 11: $96,466 to $120,582 per annum, commensurate on education and experience. In addition to the salary, the position is eligible for pay for performance.
