Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is hiring a Manager, 3rd Party Approvals, Consents, & Permits to lead the approvals for a major airport program in the Greater Toronto Area. You will coordinate requirements across teams and external partners to secure necessary consents.

You will mentor staff, report to senior leaders, and ensure timely progress through complex regulatory processes. A background of 15+ years in program management and airport projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in program management and/or permitting, consents, and approvals.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and providing strategic reporting.
• Thorough working knowledge of general and local requirements for third party approvals and permits.
• Strong technical capability across design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to facilitate large group meetings.

AtkinsRéalis i s'hiring a Manager, 3rd Party Approvals, Consents, & Permits with proven experience supporting large scale airport or equivalent infrastructure programs. The Manager, 3rd Party Approvals, Consents, & Permits will support a transformative airport infrastructure project and will be part of a high-performing project team based in the west end of Toronto.

Your role

• Identification and coordination of the requirements for third party approvals, consents, and permits.
• Working collaboratively with the contractor to manage third party stakeholder relationships with respect to third party approvals, consents, and permits.
• Tracking and monitoring third party approvals, consents, and permits and providing regular management reporting.
• Working collaboratively with the Program Director and Program Leads to coordinate schedule requirements with respect to third party approvals, consents, and permits.
• Provide subject matter expertise with respect to the expedition of third-party approvals, consents, and permits.
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of staff.

About You

• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in a program management and/or permitting, consents, and approvals function.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs.
• Demonstrable experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and providing strategic level reporting to enable effective decision making.
• Thorough working knowledge of general and local requirements with respect to 3rd party approvals, permits, and consents.
• Strong technical capability in all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance, preferably on large programs/projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills including the ability to facilitate meetings/workshops with large groups of stakeholders.
• Recognized degree and professional designation in a relevant field considered an asset.
