AtkinsRéalis in Toronto is hiring a Manager, 3rd Party Approvals, Consents, & Permits to support a major airport infrastructure program. The role focuses on approvals, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination to drive timely permits.

The ideal candidate has extensive program management and aviation project experience, with strong reporting and leadership skills to mentor staff and guide decision-making across large-scale initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years in program management and/or permitting and approvals.
• Minimum 5 years in large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders with strategic reporting for decisions.
• Thorough knowledge of 3rd party approvals, permits, and consents.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and meetings facilitation with large groups.
• Degree and professional designation in a relevant field is an asset.

AtkinsRéalis i s hiring a Manager, 3rd Party Approvals, Consents, & Permits with proven experience supporting large scale airport or equivalent infrastructure programs.

The Manager, 3rd Party Approvals, Consents, & Permits will support a transformative airport infrastructure project and will be part of a high-performing project team based in the west end of Toronto.

Your role

• Identification and coordination of the requirements for third party approvals, consents, and permits.
• Working collaboratively with the contractor to manage third party stakeholder relationships with respect to third party approvals, consents, and permits.
• Tracking and monitoring third party approvals, consents, and permits and providing regular management reporting.
• Working collaboratively with the Program Director and Program Leads to coordinate schedule requirements with respect to third party approvals, consents, and permits.
• Provide subject matter expertise with respect to the expedition of third-party approvals, consents, and permits.
• Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of staff.

About you

• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in a program management and/or permitting, consents, and approvals function.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs.
• Demonstrable experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and providing strategic level reporting to enable effective decision making.
• Thorough working knowledge of general and local requirements with respect to 3rd party approvals, permits, and consents.
• Strong technical capability in all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance, preferably on large programs/projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills including the ability to facilitate meetings/workshops with large groups of stakeholders.
• Recognized degree and professional designation in a relevant field considered an asset.
