Job summary

Subway in Canada is seeking a Manager to lead daily operations, guest experiences, food prep, cleanliness, and safety. You will manage inventory, money control systems, and coordinate local marketing while recruiting and developing staff.

This role requires a high school diploma (college degree preferred), at least 2 years in a restaurant, supervision experience, and strong communication; computer knowledge and POS use are essential; physical tasks include lifting up to 30 pounds.

• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
• Planning special events and promotions

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.

PHYSICAL

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
