WHAT A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOKS LIKE
Under the supervision of the regional sales manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly and that your team provides the best possible customer service. Your role will involve meeting overall objectives and maintaining our standards for customer service, sales, operational performance, and visual presentation. You should also be familiar with recruiting techniques, providing meaningful training, and using staff development and evaluation tools to motivate your team and help them excel.
SALES :
- Optimize the performance and profitability of your store;
- Train your team members in customer service—teach the best sales techniques and ensure they are familiar with all product features;
- Analyze sales results and find innovative solutions to boost sales;
- Schedule employees based on performance and traffic;
- Set sales goals, develop a plan to achieve them, and share with your team;
- Keep the regional manager informed about store activities and tasks.
HUMAN RESOURCES :
- Create a positive work environment that fosters excellence and instills pride and belonging in the La Vie en Rose team;
- Bring our vision, mission, and brand culture to life and share them with your team;
- Demonstrate leadership and act as an inspirational role model;
- Build a high-performance team—recruit, train, and source the best candidates for various roles;
- Plan work schedules, share them with your team, and manage absences/lateness;
- Conduct performance evaluations for the entire store team;
- Manage labor disputes and apply disciplinary actions in accordance with laws and policies.
MARKETING AND VISUAL PRESENTATION :
- Master product knowledge and technical features;
- Create an attractive store environment based on planograms with your team;
- Monitor competitors’ activities;
- Build a loyal customer base by showcasing the brand and building relationships;
- Develop an action plan to improve inventory management;
- Plan incoming orders and ensure visual displays are set up efficiently;
- Maintain store cleanliness and collaborate with mall management.
ADMINISTRATION :
- Analyze reports to optimize productivity and sales;
- Open and close the store with managers;
- Manage controllable expenses efficiently;
- Collaborate with head office on various projects;
- Follow policies and procedures of head office;
- Perform other duties to support the team.
