An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team at Oretta Midtown .

About the Role

As a Front of House Manager, you will be instrumental in leading and optimizing the performance of Oretta Midtown. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, and fostering growth and profitability.

Your leadership will directly impact the success of the location and contribute to our overall brand integrity. Upholding Oretta’s mission, values, policies, quality, and guest experience standards are vital importance. The ideal candidate will play integral part in ensuring employee satisfaction and customer needs are met. You will run successful services by bringing a positive presence on the floor, motivating frontline staff, interacting with guests, and assisting in growing the Oretta brand. This role is perfect for someone who is incredibly passionate about people, food, and our ever-changing industry!

About Us

Oretta first opened their doors in 2017 to provide Toronto’s vibrant King West area with an authentic yet modern-day Italian culinary experience. In 2022, Oretta Midtown opened, and we are very excited to announce the opening of our third location, Oretta Downtown, in Summer 2024. We focus on delivering genuine Italian cuisine, emphasizing fresh, high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods.

Our menu features a variety of classic Italian dishes with innovative twists on traditional recipes. The restaurant’s design typically reflects a blend of classic Italian elegance with modern aesthetics. About You

Qualifications in Hospitality Management, or relevant experience as per below :

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in fine dining or casual fine dining
  • restaurant
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a diverse
  • team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Administrative experience (scheduling, inventory, ordering, onboarding), with sound financial acumen
  • The ability to effectively interact with staff, customers, and vendors
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software (Toast, OpenTable, Push) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thorough organizational and time management, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands on approach to resolving issues and out-of-box thinking
  • Serving as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviours
  • Passion and sound understanding of Italian cuisine, wines, cocktails, and spirits is a plus!
