  • 6+ years of experience within the fund administration industry.
  • Professional designation (CPA or similar) preferred but not required.
  • Good understanding of private equity fund administration.

What You Will Get To Do :

The Manager, Fund Accounting will do the accounting for the entity, which includes being responsible for the preparation of monthly valuation packages, management and performance fee calculation and income allocation. The Manager, Fund Accounting will also be responsible for reviewing and sign off on work prepared by junior team members. In addition, the Manager, Fund Accounting will respond to client queries and will liaise with the fund auditors, preparing reconciliations, and responding to information requests. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic work environment and has an interest to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Posting journal entries to complete required reporting
  • Preparing and reviewing entries to performance system
  • Preparing and reviewing cash and investment position reconciliations
  • Preparing and review accurate and timely Net Asset Valuation packages
  • Preparing and review financial statements and partners’ capital statements
  • Preparing and review income and incentive / performance allocation calculations
  • Preparing and review of capital call and distribution notices
  • Communicate and responds to Client / LP / Audit requests
  • Training, mentoring and managing junior team members
  • Accountable for profitability and efficiency measures of performance of team and clients
  • Preparation, update and contribution to the development of processes and procedures
  • Other general duties as determined by management

What You Will Bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field
  • 6+ years of experience within the fund administration industry (private equity fund administration background a plus)
  • Professional designation (CPA or similar) is a preferred, but not required
  • Good understanding of GAAP accounting for investment funds
  • Good understanding of private equity fund administration in terms of capital call, distribution, waterfall calculation
  • Being a Team Player with a positive attitude
  • Strong Communication skills, oral and written
  • Proficient with Advent Products, Bloomberg and Microsoft Office Products
  • Understand the importance of excellent customer service
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
