As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the branch by working to meet financial objectives related to profitable growth and retention of the branch's personal and business portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team to build and strengthen customer relationships by providing financial advice.
  • Assist in building and strengthening customer relationships through coaching, training, and observation.
  • Coach your team for success, both individually and at the branch level.
  • Manage and minimize the Bank's exposure to risk.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Bank's policies, practices, initiatives, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a people manager with the ability to engage your team.
  • Experience in personal and small business banking.
  • Solid sales management experience with the ability to market Scotiabank.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships focused on providing excellent service and growing existing accounts.
  • License to sell mutual funds.
  • Successfully completed the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning or an equivalent recognized by the Bank.
  • Completed educational requirements to assume the role of Branch Compliance Officer.
