The University of New Brunswick invites applications for a full-time teaching position in business law. The role emphasizes evaluating the impact of law on business decisions and requires a Master's degree and relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience, while other qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.
Examines the impact of law on business decisions and activities. Includes an introduction to the Canadian legal system, the law of contract, and the law of torts. Emphasis is given to the identification, evaluation, and management of legal risks in a business context.
Prerequisite: 30 credit hours. Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant field, business experience, or significant participation in professional or policy-making bodies within the last five years. Consideration may be given to applicants with an undergraduate degree and a relevant professional designation. Teaching experience at the university level is an asset.
