Job description

Management Consultant, Trilogy (Remote) - $200,000/year USD
Management Consultant, Trilogy (Remote) - $200,000/year USD

This range is provided by Trilogy. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$100.00/hr - $100.00/hr

Are you the person everyone calls when systems break down? Trilogy is seeking operational alchemists - individuals who can transform business chaos into clockwork efficiency using AI-powered insights and strategic restructuring.

This isn't your typical management consultant role. We're looking for hands-on problem solvers who find satisfaction in dismantling dysfunctional operations and rebuilding them into streamlined machines. You'll be the architect of transformation, eliminating redundancies (yes, sometimes that includes personnel) and realigning misguided processes.

While others schedule endless meetings to discuss change, you'll be empowered to implement it. Your success will be measured by the "why didn't we think of this before?" reactions from your colleagues as you revolutionize how we operate.

If you believe operations should actually involve operating – creating tangible improvements rather than just talking about them – then keep reading.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Finds genuine satisfaction in hunting down and eliminating operational inefficiencies
  • Has a proven track record (or untapped potential) for enhancing customer value through operational excellence
  • Possesses an innate ability to simplify complex operational structures
  • Takes pride in being methodical and solution-oriented, even if some have called your efficiency "robotic"

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leveraging cutting-edge generative AI to transform manual workflows into automated systems across all organizational levels
  • Conducting ruthlessly honest assessments of divisional performance, identifying both strengths to amplify and weaknesses to eliminate
  • Designing and implementing strategic restructuring plans for specific operational units (Customer Support, Pricing, Sales, etc.) following Trilogy's battle-tested methodology

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Drowning in administrative tasks or traditional management hierarchy - we've automated the busywork so you can focus on high-impact transformation
  • Babysitting operations after you've optimized them - once a division is running efficiently, you'll move to the next challenge requiring your expertise
  • Creating strategies from scratch - we provide the proven operational playbook, you execute it with precision while offering valuable refinements

Management Consultant Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and refine our established operational frameworks to revitalize underperforming companies - we'll give you the blueprint, you'll bring it to life (and help us make it even better)
  • Drive measurable improvements in profit margins and customer retention across our portfolio of acquired software companies

Basic Requirements

  • Current residence in North, Central, or South America
  • Minimum 5 years of enterprise software industry experience, with deep knowledge of software development and operational practices
  • At least 5 years working directly in operational roles
  • Minimum 3 years in customer-facing positions (Support, Sales, Collections, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience using generative AI tools to achieve measurable productivity enhancements
