Responsibilities
This position requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or the ability to competently perform quality control (QC) related to mammography. Additionally, the role involves performing all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms. The position works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
Certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (CPR and AED) Program.
PREFERRED:
1 - 3 years' experience in mammography.
1 year experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
