Role Summary :

As an Mall Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the shopping mall, ensuring smooth functioning, tenant satisfaction, efficient facility management, and adherence to safety, cleanliness, and service standards. The role also ensures the mall operates in a cost-effective manner while maximizing tenant and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

A. Mall Operations Management

• Supervise daily operational activities of the mall including housekeeping, security, parking, landscaping, and maintenance.
• Monitor and manage the implementation of operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Act as the primary liaison between tenants and mall management.
• Handle tenant requests, complaints, and coordinate problem-solving with relevant departments.
• Assist in tenant fit-out and handover processes.

C. Facility Management

Oversee building systems and infrastructure maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

Coordinate with technical and maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance.

Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure standards are met.

D. Financial & Budget Control

Assist in preparing and managing the mall’s operations budget.

Monitor operational expenses and recommend cost-efficiency strategies.

Assist in vendor contract negotiations and management.

E. Vendor and Staff Management

Supervise third-party service providers (cleaning, security, maintenance, etc.)

Ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs are met.

Lead and develop internal operational teams.

Develop and implement emergency response procedures.

Coordinate regular fire drills, safety training, and risk assessments.

G. Customer Service & Experience

Enhance customer experience by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and convenience.

Coordinate with the marketing team for events and promotional activities that impact mall operations.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in mall, retail, or commercial property operations.

Strong knowledge of building management systems, safety regulations, and facility maintenance.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
