THE ROLE

Responsible for ensuring quality custodial/janitorial service to various Legends Hospitality locations throughout the Rogers Centre.

Essential Functions

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Clean and prepare various Legends Hospitality food and beverage equipment and locations for events.
  • Clean and maintain various Legends Hospitality offices, locker rooms, and washrooms.
  • Ensure all locations are stocked with cleaning supplies.
  • Waste management.
  • Small repairs and painting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Work independently and as a team.
  • Any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • WHMIS certification.
  • Solid organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Team player and ability to work with diverse groups, as well as being self-motivated and the ability to work as an individual contributor.
  • The capability push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40lbs.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: On Site

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands to finger, and handle controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, and stoop. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
