What Would You Do?

  • Manage resident requests and follow up to ensure work orders are completed satisfactorily and promptly.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to develop long-term relationships with residents.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building equipment, including boilers, HVAC, plumbing, and minor electrical systems.
  • Complete minor renovations such as painting, drywall, mudding, and taping.
  • Perform routine repairs like exterior door adjustments, hinges, and locks.
  • Maintain a safety-first attitude by completing required training, keeping the work site clean and safe, and identifying risks and hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, boiler checks, snow logs, etc., using various systems and applications.
  • Assist with the delivery, installation, and disposal of materials and appliances.
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform repairs and maintenance on building systems.
  • Be available for scheduled On Call duties and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What Do You Need?

  • 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance and repairs in residential or commercial settings.
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to use multiple programs and systems via mobile, including Yardi (maintenance), Site Photos, and Kronos (asset). Experience with these is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to meet resident needs.
  • A passion for customer service and relationship building.
  • Own tools and CSA steel-toed boots.
  • Must be clean-shaven to wear a respirator when required.
  • A valid driver’s license, a clean driver’s abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work outside of normal hours and participate in On Call rotations.
  • Must pass a criminal record check.
