Job summary

Aramark Remote Workplace Services is seeking a Maintenance Worker for a remote lodge located in White River, Ontario. The role involves maintaining and repairing buildings and grounds in a remote camp setting, with a focus on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize costs.

A valid driver's license is required to operate vehicles in the assignment area. The position includes responsibilities such as routine inspections, completing maintenance checklists, and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.
• Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
• Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Reports on any major maintenance need and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
• Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.

Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for a Maintenance Worker for a Remote Lodge loated in White River Ontario. Strong experience and a familiarity with remote maintenance work is required. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for supporting and performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in a remote camp setting in assigned area(s). Preventative maintenance work as well as trouble shooting for all construction and maintenance projects to sustain optimal performance while minimizing operating costs. This position requires a license to drive.

• Rotation are 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
