Qualifications

  • Experience in minor maintenance and repair is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Resort operations is beneficial.
  • Experience in slope maintenance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure slope safety and maintenance in collaboration with Mountain Operations.
  • Perform tasks like tree trimming and hazard removal.
  • Document and report issues to Ski Patrol.

HOURLY RATE - $18.82

FULL-TIME HOURS - MONDAY-FRIDAY

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The Slope Maintenance worker performs tasks to ensure slope safety and maintenance in collaboration with Mountain Operations Departments, providing guests and staff with a hazard-free mountain experience.

  • Placement, positioning, and upkeep of padding and fencing
  • Tree line trimming and removal of fallen trees or hazards from trails
  • Respond to and document issues reported by Ski Patrol promptly
  • Communicate electrical issues related to night lighting and hazards to relevant departments
  • Maintain the appearance of guest staging and gathering areas
  • Maintain snow levels around buildings, hill benches, and waste receptacles
  • Remove and place ski racks nightly
  • Hand clean hills and rest areas

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

  • Ability to operate various equipment, from handheld tools to power tools
  • Experience in minor maintenance and repair is a plus
  • Ability to follow procedures, complete tasks, and document work
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams
  • Safety conscious, with required safety equipment worn on the job
  • Experience in slope maintenance is advantageous
  • Snowmobile operation experience is a plus (training provided)
  • Knowledge of Resort operations is beneficial
  • Valid Class G Driver's License in good standing required
