About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager, the Maintenance Worker II performs avariety of semi-skilled, and unskilled tasks related to the upkeep of Nova Scotia Health properties (facilities& grounds) and related infrastructure, including but not limited to the operation, monitoring, maintenance,and service requirements of all grounds and facility related infrastructure and equipment, aiding othermaintenance and operations trades and other related duties as required. The Maintenance Worker II assistswith maintaining and following operational, equipment, tools, & safety codes, standards, and procedures.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following :
Successful completion of a 1 year certificate or diploma in a technical trade (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc..) or registered apprentice
4th Class Power Engineer certificate may also be considered
3 monthsrelevant work experience required
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.
