About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager, the Maintenance Worker II performs semi-skilled and unskilled tasks related to the upkeep of Nova Scotia Health properties, including facilities and grounds. Responsibilities include operation, monitoring, maintenance, and service of infrastructure and equipment, supporting other trades, and adhering to safety and operational standards.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Successful completion of a 1-year certificate or diploma in a technical trade (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.) or are a registered apprentice.
  • 4th Class Power Engineer certificate may also be considered.
  • At least 3 months of relevant work experience.
  • Shift work availability.
  • Competency in other languages, especially French, is an asset.

Hours

Casual Relief position.

Compensation and Benefits

$24.92 - $25.63 Hourly
