Alberta Health Services seeks a Maintenance Worker I to join their Facilities Maintenance and Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various maintenance tasks at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and other sites, supporting event setups and ensuring cleanliness and functionality across facilities. Your Opportunity:
As a Maintenance Worker I, you will be part of our Facilities Maintenance and Engineering Houseman team. Your daily tasks will include moving equipment throughout the facility, supporting event setups for site functions and training sessions, and performing routine groundskeeping and facility maintenance tasks. You may maintain lawns, flowerbeds, trees, and shrubs; collect and dispose of garbage; remove snow and ice; spread salt and sand; clean mechanical rooms and shop areas; and assist tradespeople and other maintenance staff as needed. You will communicate regularly with staff, demonstrating professionalism and customer service.
The primary location will be at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the Gene Zwozdesky Center at Norwood, with potential to work at other sites within the zone during events. Join our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with potential multi-site duties as directed by the FM&E Director or Manager.

Preferred Qualifications: Grade 12 Diploma; experience with electric mules, pallet jacks, carts, dollies, minor tools, hydraulic lifts; proficient computer skills.
