Tasks

1. Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
2. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
3. Empty trash cans and other waste containers
4. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
5. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
6. Balance rent roll
7. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
8. Perform minor repairs on appliances
9. Perform safety and security checks
10. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
11. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
12. Repair machine tools and parts
13. Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
14. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
15. Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
16. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
17. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
18. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
19. Set up and adjust production machineries / tools
