Job description

Staffmax is seeking a reliable team player for a full-time, permanent position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekends when required.

Wage: $20.00/hour

Requirements: Must have a Class 5 driver's license (Company van provided).

Location: Various areas of the city.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across different facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Track maintenance schedules and report issues promptly.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • Supervise and lead small teams on projects or repairs, ensuring quality work.
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding their needs and project updates to provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, following safety protocols.
  • Document work performed and keep accurate repair records.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in maintenance or related services preferred.
  • Strong mechanical skills with the ability to repair various systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Experience with logic controllers and CMMS for maintenance tracking is advantageous.
  • Effective leadership skills to supervise team members.
  • Proficiency in English for clear communication.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and service quality.
