The Facilities Maintenance team at Providence Health Care are looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Worker 5 to contribute to the well-being of the communities we serve by helping ensure the seamless operation of St. Paul's Hospital.As a Maintenance Worker 5, you will be a key player in building maintenance, from installations and renovations to executing preventative and corrective maintenance duties related to buildings, structural elements, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

What We Offer
Your Day to Day:
Plumbing Installation:Installs and modifies plumbing fixtures, taps, sinks, and toilets.
Electrical/Mechanical Repairs:Repairs equipment like autoclaves, washers, sterilizers, and dryers.
Construction & Repair:Builds and repairs shelves, furniture, walls, and other structures.
Painting & Decoration:Applies paint, plaster, and wall coverings; installs various items.
Renovations & Repairs:Performs minor renovations, roof repairs, and demolitions.
Preventative Maintenance:Develops and monitors maintenance procedures, recommends repairs.
Supervision:Coordinates work assignments and evaluates employee performance.
Cleanliness:Maintains shop, storage rooms, and disposes of materials as required.
