Location: Powell River/qathet Regional District

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8 Hour Day Shift

Salary Or Wage: $22 to $24 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

List of Requirements

• Strong “jack of all trades” skills and comfortable and adept with painting and repairing equipment, and household property
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge for troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically
• Clear driving record
• Clear Criminal Record background check

List of Duties

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining the safety and functionality of our buildings, facilities and equipment.

Duties:

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment
• Assist in ensuring site risk liability is top of mind and correct immediately any risks found on site
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
• Available for Saturday shifts

Work Hours: Full Time, Tuesday to Saturday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
