Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and janitorial tasks.
  • Assist in conducting fire and safety drills.
  • Provide backup to the Senior Maintenance Worker.

Facilities Maintenance - $20.00 an Hour

Full Time - Non Exempt

General Summary

Perform tasks associated with the maintenance of Thrive's buildings and grounds.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, structural renovations, and janitorial tasks
  • Relocate furniture and equipment
  • Perform routine landscaping tasks
  • Assist in conducting fire and safety drills
  • Provide backup to the Senior Maintenance Worker
  • Provide backup on-call coverage for emergencies
  • Review email account daily for new messages
  • Work with CAT 6 cabling
  • Work well with computers
  • Snow plow removal
Additional Responsibilities
  • Attend all required training and meetings
  • Participate in safety training and understand safety responsibilities
  • Maintain professionalism and respect for clients, families, visitors, and colleagues

Education, Experience, and Competencies
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to work independently under deadlines; basic computer skills preferred
Certifications and Licenses
  • Valid driver's license or ability to obtain transportation
Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, or smell. Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations available.

Reports To

Facility Manager, supervised according to Thrive policy.
