Qualifications

Staffmax is partnering with our client to recruit a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker for an 8-month contract within a busy manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and a strong commitment to minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and equipment history

Support facility repairs, including HVAC, lighting, and plumbing systems

Ensure all equipment operates safely and in compliance with company standards

Respond promptly to breakdowns and urgent repair requests

Collaborate with production teams to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities

Qualifications :

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance

Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently

Trade certification or equivalent training is considered an asset
