Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) is currently looking to fill several full-time departmental positions. New employees are hired as Labourers (LAB: $42,365 - $46,518) and promoted to the Operator (OR1-4: $48,647 to $59,562) series once training, orientation, and proficiency-testing milestones are met. This advertisement will remain open until positions are filled and will establish an eligibility list for future vacancies.

Maintenance Workers (MW's) operate highway maintenance equipment, small hand and power tools, and perform physical maintenance work associated with highway maintenance activities. In the winter months, the MW will operate heavy equipment to keep highways clear of snow and ice. Spring, summer and fall months may include a variety work such as; paved surface repairs, gravel road maintenance, debris pick-up, sign repair and right-of-way maintenance.
