We are hiring! We are currently seeking a Maintenance Worker to join the maintenance team. This role will help with the following tasks:
Assist in all legal and regulatory obligations from the maintenance and operations standpoint;
Maintain functionality of all packing lines, automation, & conveyors;
Maintain functionality of all box making machines, PLU machines, label machines, etc.;
Maintain greenhouse plant facility, including installation, maintenance, and repair of specialized heating, ventilation, irrigation, and/or other equipment;
Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs;
Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures;
Inspect Irrigation Units, Drain Water Re-circulation System, C02 System, and Sterilizers as per the weekly checklist form;
Inspect lift trucks, electric hand jacks, tuggers, and hydraulic trolleys as per the weekly plant maintenance checklist form;
Inspect pipe rails, exhaust fans, ridge vents, spray line, and spray pumps as per the plant maintenance checklist provided;
Review tool room procedures to ensure it is locked at all times while unattended;
Review Amco maintenance policies and procedures and improve them if needed in coordination with the VP of production;
Hold or supply tools, parts, equipment, and supplies for other workers;
Complete and submit the weekly plant maintenance schedule to the maintenance supervisor.
Requirements:
Secondary diploma preferred.
Experience in plumbing, electrical, welding, or any other handyman skills strongly preferred.
Minimum of 1 year as a maintenance worker preferred.
Ability to work both independently and with a team.
Great attention to detail.
Can-do attitude.
Pay rate will be experience based.
