Gulf Operators Limited is a civil contractor experienced in all aspects of civil work including concrete work, excavation, water and sewer, as well as aggregate production and sales.

We are seeking a maintenance technician to service quarry equipment around its operations in New Brunswick. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing mechanical and electrical components on quarry equipment, including crushers and conveyers.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems on quarry equipment, including crushers and conveyors.
  • Replace or repair worn components to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment failures and safety hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to schedule repairs without disrupting production.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Technical certification in heavy equipment or industrial mechanics/millwright is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a quarry or heavy equipment environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.
