Job summary

Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Anderton Place apartments in Comox, BC. Diagnose and repair plumbing, heating and electrical systems, perform general maintenance, and ensure units are well-kept and welcoming to residents.

With 2+ years of maintenance experience and a relevant trade certification, you will work on-site, participate in on-call rotation, and contribute to a positive tenant experience in a growing property management company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Completion of relevant trade, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of hand tools and repair equipment.
• Availability to work on-call on rotational basis.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic to intermediate plumbing, heating and electrical problems.
• Repair windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances, fixtures and tile flooring.
• Paint, drywall patching, mudding and taping.
• Maintain exterior and grounds as required.
• Detect faulty operations and report deficiencies.
